Rangers are looking for a new manager after Pedro Caixinha departed Ibrox.

According to Sky Sports, Billy Davies is keen to hold talks with Rangers about becoming their new manager following Pedro Caixinha’s exit on Thursday.
The Gers chose to part ways with Caixinha less than 24 hours after Wednesday’s 1-1 draw with Kilmarnock, as Rangers managed to have a player sent off, miss a penalty and concede a last-gasp equaliser.
That proved to be Caixinha’s final game in charge of Rangers, as the Gers hierarchy held a board meeting earlier today, with the outcome resulting in Caixinha’s sacking.

The Portuguese boss flattered to deceive in his seven-month stay at Ibrox, and Rangers must now look to find a new manager to take them forward and chase down Celtic at the top of the table.
Now, Sky Sports report that Billy Davies wants to hold talks with Rangers about a potential return to Ibrox, though Sky Sports also tweeted that the interest isn’t exactly mutual.
Davies, 53, played as a midfielder for Rangers and has been touted for the Ibrox job on a number of occasions, with the Glasgow-born manager harbouring something of a dream to go back and manage the Gers.

A former Premier League manager with Derby County, Davies had a stunning record finishing in the play-offs in the Championship with Preston North End, Derby and Nottingham Forest.
However, having been out of management for nearly years now, Davies’ reputation is somewhat tarnished, and whilst he may be keen to return to Ibrox and replace Caixinha, it’s understandable why Rangers wouldn’t be quite so interested.
