Kamil Grosicki is facing an early exit from Premier League newcomers West Bromwich Albion as Slaven Bilic eyes further reinforcements including Huddersfield’s Karlan Grant, according to the Birmingham Mail.
While the Baggies might have missed out on signing Croatia international and Champions League hat-trick hero Mislav Orsic during the January transfer window, they did sign a pair of proven Championship stars.
Although Callum Robinson was rewarded for a series of match-winning displays with a permanent contract at The Hawthorns, Grosicki’s West Brom career appears to be heading in the other direction.
The 32-year-old Poland international has not played a minute of Premier League football since promotion.
And after a disappointing display in last week’s 3-0 Carabao Cup victory over Harrogate Town – a game in which he was subbed off before the hour – Grosicki was left out of the matchday squad altogether for Saturday’s 5-2 defeat at Everton.

The former Hull City talisman was comfortably outshone by Matt Phillips and Kyle ‘the Dudley Hazard’ Edwards against Harrogate, with the permanent signings of Grady Diangana, Matheus Pereira and Robinson forcing him further down the pecking order.
Karlan Grant, Bilic’s £17 million top target (Mail), is also capable of playing out wide.
So do not be surprised if the seldom-seen Kenneth Zohore is not the only Bilic signing heading out the door between now and October’s transfer deadline.
