Alvaro Arbeloa is reportedly set to leave West Ham in January.
According to The Sun, West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic intends to let Alvaro Arbeloa leave the club during the upcoming January transfer window.
Arbeloa, 33, was released by Real Madrid over the summer after making almost 250 appearances for the Spanish giants, giving great service to the club following a 2009 move from Liverpool.

Arbeloa spent the whole summer without a club, but on deadline day in August, he was handed a surprise return to the Premier League, move than seven years since his departure from English football.
The Spaniard penned a one-year deal with West Ham in the final hours of the summer transfer window, with the Hammers hoping that Arbeloa – a World Cup, European Championships and Champions League winner in recent years – would provide experience in the West Ham back line, particularly for young right back Sam Byram.

However, Arbeloa’s time in East London has been difficult so far. He’s started just one Premier League game – a 3-0 home defeat to Southampton – and has only appeared in three games in all competitions so far.
Arbeloa hasn’t kicked a ball for going on two months now, and seems to have become the forgotten man at the London Stadium. Now, The Sun suggest that Arbeloa could already be on his way out of the club in January.

It’s claimed that Arbeloa is no longer in manager Bilic’s plans going forward, and he intends to let the veteran defender move on when the January transfer window opens.
If no clubs move for Arbeloa, it would be little surprise to see West Ham pay up the Spaniard’s contract and let him walk as a free agent, given that his deal only runs until the end of the season; either way, it seems that Arbeloa’s forgettable spell at West Ham may be coming to an abrupt end in January.
