Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa is personally desperate to get Rodrigo de Paul to Elland Road this summer, Goal claim.
Leeds have been linked with an ambitious swoop for the Udinese man over the weekend, and it seems that Bielsa is man behind the transfer plan.
Bielsa is said to rate De Paul very highly, and he is now Leeds’ top target to add in midfield.
De Paul, who was once described as ‘having everything’ (Web24), has been one of the most most dynamic players in Serie A over the past campaign, and has been a huge threat going forward.
The 26-year-old claimed seven goals and six assists over the past campaign, which is an impressive return for a player usually deployed in Udinese’s midfield.

Leeds would have to pay £27 million to make the transfer happen, which means he would be an expensive recruit.
But De Paul would add serious quality to Leeds’ squad, and his arrival alongside Rodrigo’s would prove that the Whites seriously mean business next term.
