According to Tuttosport, Manchester United are rivalling Leeds United for the signature of Torino ace Nicolas Nkoulou.
It’s claimed that Marcelo Bielsa is desperate to bring Nkoulou to Elland Road having coached him at Marseille and wants him ‘at all costs’.
Yet the Whites now face a battle with their old rivals United, who have allegedly scouted Nkoulou in recent times.
The 30-year-old is starring for Torino, and is now expected to land a big move away from the Italian side this summer.
Torino are hovering precariously above the Serie A drop zone, and Nkoulou’s quality is certainly deserving of a bigger stage.
The 30-year-old has turned out for Monaco, Marseille and Lyon in the past, and he could soon have the chance to play in the Premier League.

A reunion with Bielsa could be appealing, but Leeds do have four other strong centre backs when fully fit, with Liam Cooper, Pascal Struijk, Robin Koch and Diego Llorente all at Bielsa’s disposal.
Nkoulou’s reading of the game and great experience will be appealing to United as a partner for Harry Maguire even if he isn’t a big name, and the Cameroonian defender could soon have to pick between two of English football’s big rivals.
