According to The Mirror (04/10, p74), Leeds United are preparing a last-gasp bid for Liverpool defender Yasser Larouci.
It’s claimed that a number of clubs both at home and on the continent are keen on Larouci, but Marcelo Bielsa wants a move for Larouci to materialise before the deadline.
Larouci allegedly wants out of Anfield after Liverpool snapped up Kostas Tsimikas from Olympiacos over the summer, with the Greek ace becoming Andrew Robertson’s main backup.
Algerian talent Larouci has just one year left to run on his deal, and Liverpool are ready to let him leave on deadline day.
Larouci, 19, was a winger in his past, but is now more of a left back, possessing real pace and attacking play as well as considerable potential.
Leeds have been linked for some time now, as Goal reported in July that Leeds were eyeing a cut-price move for Larouci.

With Barry Douglas out of favour and possibly on the move, Leeds should be looking for another left back to come in and compete with Stuart Dallas.
Larouci can be that player, and he fits in with Leeds’ commitment to looking for future talent without breaking the bank, whilst Liverpool’s desire to sell certainly helps the Whites.
