Marcelo Bielsa has told Leeds United’s Andrea Radrizzani to go out and buy Michael Cuisance for him, according to Fussball Transfers.
Leeds are keen to land the Bayern Munich midifelder, with Bielsa the man driving their push for Cuisance.
The 21-year-old is highly regarded at Bayern, but he just hasn’t been able to get the game time required at the German champions to really aid his development.
Cuisance has only made 11 first-team appearances for Bayern, but Leeds have already seen enough to suggest that he could be an excellent addition to their squad.
When he was just a teenager Cuisance was already impressing in the Bundesliga with Borussia Monchengladbach, but since he joined Bayern two years ago, his progress has rather stalled.
While Cuisance may have benefitted from training with elite level players, he has seen his game time become very limited.

Leeds now want to offer him a chance to come and join them, as Bielsa eyes up a midfield addition.
It seems that strengthening in the middle of the park and bringing in Cuisance, who the Bundesliga’s official website suggested could be a potential Thiago Alcantara replacement at Bayern, would be an exciting signing.
Cuisance was hailed by Bayern director Hasan Salihamidzic as an ‘outstanding’ player with a ‘wonderful left foot’ soon after he arrived (Bayern website), and he could be given a platform to prove his quality if he does move to Elland Road.
