The latest reports suggest that Liverpool do not expect Wilson or Marko Grujic to depart Anfield until October, as neither have made much progress with getting a move away.
Liverpool are demanding a sizeable sum for the pair, and it seems that they are hoping that clubs will be forced into paying it, once they have explored other options.
Whether Leeds will be happy to wait in the battle to sign Wilson remains to be seen.
