Leeds United continue to be linked with Swansea City winger Daniel James.

According to The Mirror, Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa isn’t putting any pressure on Victor Orta to make signings this month.
The Whites have headed into the January transfer window with their best chance yet of returning to the Premier League for the first time since 2004.
Bielsa has his side top of the Championship table, but with three defeats in four, Leeds may be in the market for additions this month in order to get over the line.
Goalkeeper Kiko Casilla signed from Real Madrid last week, and another winger appears to be a major priority for Bielsa this month.
However, The Mirror note that Bielsa isn’t putting any pressure on director of football Victor Orta to make signings, as he would be happy to press ahead with the squad he has.
Leeds’ top target is Swansea winger Daniel James, and whilst they are hoping to get him signed up, they are willing to back away from the pursuit if they need to.

It’s stated that Leeds have a limited budget this month, and won’t sanction a deal for James if they don’t feel they’re getting value for money.
Even if they believe James could be a smart signing, they won’t break the bank to sign him and pursue promotion, sticking strongly to their plans.
Leeds fans may hope for signings in the next 10 days, but unless Swansea’s asking price fits with Leeds’ spending plans, there may be no more arrivals this month.
