Marcelo Bielsa is targeting two central defenders for Leeds United this summer, according to the Daily Star.
The Star say that Leeds are interested in Ben White, Lucas Martinez Quarta, Rob Holding and Taylor Harwood-Bellis as they look to strengthen at the back.
And Bielsa wants to do a double deal, to really improve Leeds’ defence for next term.
Liam Cooper and White formed an excellent pairing at the back for Leeds last term, but Bielsa may feel that his side currently lack cover in the position.
Leeds were often forced to play with Luke Ayling or Gaetano Berardi in central defence last season, and the pair are more comfortable at full-back.

While they both performed admirably last season, there are fears that they could be exposed at the top level in a central role – and Berardi is set to miss a large chunk of the season with injury anyway.
Bielsa, therefore, appears to feel that bringing in two centre-halves before the season starts could be key, and Leeds will be hoping to make a breakthrough in their pursuits sooner rather than later.
