According to The Mirror, the bidding for Borussia Dortmund wonderkid Christian Pulisic is set to start at £30million, with both Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur in the race for his signature.

Pulisic, 18, has emerged as one of the top young talents since joining Dortmund in February 2015, hitting two goals in 12 games last season before taking up a greater role this term.

The United States international – who already has an impressive four goals in 13 caps for his country – has hit five goals and eight assists for Dortmund having become an important player under Thomas Tuchel.

Having briefly spent time in England with Brackley Town as a child, Pulisic is often touted for a return to England – but Premier League teams will have to pay big money to land the winger this summer.

The Mirror report that both Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Pulisic, along with Dortmund’s Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich, the bidding is expected to start a whopping £30million.

Liverpool boss Klopp was in charge of Dortmund when Pulisic made his move to Signal Iduna Park just over two years ago, and he would seemingly love to reunite with the American star this summer.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mail claimed just days ago that Tottenham’s new scout Steve Hitchen travelled to Germany to watch Pulisic in action against Monaco in the Champions League, with Spurs plotting a move for the teenager.

A winger with pace, trickery and huge potential, Pulisic is unsurprisingly attracting great interest, but it remains to be seen whether Liverpool or Spurs would be willing to go in with £30million for the 18-year-old, given that he’d be unlikely to win a starting role immediately – but he could be worth much, much more in the future, giving the two Premier League sides some thinking to do.
