According to Marca, Real Betis are working on a new contract for reported Tottenham Hotspur, Southampton and Crystal Palace target Loren Moron.

The 26-year-old late bloomer was in his best form prior to the Covid-19 suspension.

Moron, who has predominantly featured below Spain’s top-flight, joined Betis in 2017 and has posted nine goals and two assists in 16 La Liga starts this term.

His form has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs.

According to La Razon, Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho is a big fan of the player and wants the forward at Spurs for next season.

Grada3, meanwhile, claim Southampton and Palace are keen to sign him.

But if the latest reports are true, the Premier League trio could miss out. Marca claim Betis are working on a new deal to tie Moron down until 2024.

Moreover, the Spanish editorial claim his release clause will remain at £45 million while Moron’s new wage will be comparative with the club’s leading stars.

Spurs appear eager to add a new forward this summer. Mourinho’s side struggled for goals before the suspension, netting just five times in six games.

The injury to Harry Kane has left them with a big void to fill upfront.

Saints and Palace, on the other hand, will be looking to strengthen their attacking options with the Eagles especially finding goals hard to come by.

Moron, however, appears set to stay in Andalusia with sleeping giants Betis.
