Initially interested in signing Simon Mignolet, Besiktas have now allegedly turned their attention to Liverpool teammate Loris Karius.

Loris Karius could be on his way out of Liverpool, with the Sun reporting Besiktas are preparing a loan move for the goalkeeper.
The Turkish side had initially targeted another Anfield stopper in Simon Mignolet but were priced out of the deal, with both having fallen down the pecking order under manager Jurgen Klopp following the summer arrival of Alisson.
Klopp remains a fan of Karius and believes the German does have a future on Merseyside, but thinks the 25-year-old needs time to clear his head following a nightmare performance in last season’s Champions League final.
Therefore a year-long loan could suit all parties, but the Reds boss does need one ‘keeper to remain at the club to act as backup.

That has been complicated by the fact that interest still remains high in Mignolet as well, with Napoli now considering a move for the Belgium international.
The 30-year-old is keen on the switch to Serie A too, so after a busy window for incoming transfers Klopp and his team now need to make some big decisions on outgoings.
