TALKSPORT understands that Stoke City’s enigmatic playmaker Xherdan Shaqiri is being targeted by Turkish champions Besiktas.
The sports radio station also goes on to claim that the Swiss star could be tempted into a move by the lure of Champions League football next season.

The Switzerland international managed three goals and six assists in 27 Premier League outings for Stoke during this past season, and seemed to enjoy his football in the Potteries.
The offer of Champions League football is always hard to turn down, however, so if there is genuine interest in Shaqiri, Mark Hughes may face a tough battle over the summer to keep hold of his diminutive swiss magician.
At such a young age, Shaqiri has already racked up 51 caps for his country, and is currently with his national side as they continue their preparations for Euro 2016.
