Everton, Newcastle and Tottenham will have to splash the cash if they want to sign Cenk Tosun.

According to Turkish newspaper Hurriyet, Besiktas have increased their asking price for striker Cenk Tosun to around €40million (£35million) ahead of the January transfer window.
Tosun, 26, has been a sensation for Besiktas since his 2014 move from Turkish rivals Gaziantepspor, smashing 50 goals in 118 games before the start of this season.
The Turkish international has continued to thrive this season, hitting 13 goals in 22 games in all competitions this term, sparking major interest in his signature.

Newcastle United are one of the main clubs being linked with a move for Tosun, with the Daily Star recently reporting that the goalscorer is Rafael Benitez’s top target for the January transfer window.
However, Haberturk also claim that Everton and Tottenham Hotspur have held talks with Tosun’s father about a possible move to England, with the three Premier League rivals seemingly battling for his signature.
Whilst a £20million fee had been mentioned, Turkish newspaper Hurriyet claim that Besiktas have now increased their asking price to a whopping €40million (£35million) ahead of the January transfer window.

Even if Amanda Staveley’s proposed takeover of Newcastle goes through, Benitez is unlikely to have £35million at his disposal for one player, even if Tosun would provide the goal boost he so desperately needs.
Tottenham may not want to spend that kind of money on a striker to offer cover for Harry Kane, but Everton’s desire to finally land a replacement for Romelu Lukaku may mean that Sam Allardyce splashes the cash on a goalscorer like Tosun.
