Newcastle United will be looking for new signings this summer.

According to The Chronicle, Newcastle United boss Rafael Benitez may still look to sign loanees from Chelsea this summer despite Kenedy’s disappointing spell.
The Magpies saw Kenedy impress on loan last season, and fought hard to bring him back to St James’ Park – but the deal didn’t pay dividends.
Kenedy, 23, registered just one goal and one assist this season, and hasn’t started a single league game in 2019 having fallen down the Newcastle pecking order.
The Chronicle now report that Chelsea are ready to sell Kenedy for a cut-price fee, but Newcastle still aren’t interested after his flop of a season on Tyneside.
However, it’s noted that Rafael Benitez may still look to sign Chelsea talents this summer, with no hard feelings with the Blues over Kenedy’s poor season.
Benitez has ‘excellent’ links to the Blues, and even though Chelsea may be disappointed with Kenedy’s lack of progress, Benitez may still be able to raid his former club for some loan talent.

One player who may fit the bill is striker Tammy Abraham, as The Northern Echo reported just last week that Newcastle want to take him on loan.
That would certainly make sense if Salomon Rondon isn’t signed permanently, but one thing is for sure – Kenedy wont be in a Newcastle shirt next season.
