Ben White is reportedly set to join Leeds United on a season-long loan from Brighton and Hove Albion.

According to a report from the Yorkshire Evening Post, Ben White is set to undergo a medical on Sunday ahead of sealing a season-long loan to Leeds this summer.
White has been linked with a move to Elland Road for some time now with Marcelo Bielsa seemingly hoping to add to his defensive options ahead of his second season with the Championship side.
And it appears that he is on the verge of completing a move. The Yorkshire Evening Post reports that the Brighton youngster is undergoing a medical today and is expected to join on a season-long loan.
Leeds summer shopping underway
The fans will feel a sense of relief that the Peacocks appear to be on the verge of getting some new signings through the door. The report notes that Jack Harrison is set to join on a similar deal after having his medical on Saturday.

White is an intriguing signing for Leeds. For much of last season, Pontus Jansson and Liam Cooper were superb alongside each other at the heart of the defence. But it is difficult to imagine the Seagulls would have let White leave without some sort of assurance of how much game-time he will get.
With Cooper the club captain and White a right-footer, it would appear that Jansson is facing the bigger battle for a place in the team. But with the Swede capable of being a colossus when at his best, the pressure will be on White to make sure that he vindicates Bielsa’s faith.
