Chelsea are said to be keen to bring in Ben Chilwell from Leicester City, as Frank Lampard looks to improve his options at left-back.

Frank Lampard is interested in bringing in the Leicester City left-back, as Chelsea hope to have their transfer ban ended in January.
Leicester are unlikely to sell Chilwell during mid-season, after their impressive start to the campaign.
But Chelsea are said to be eyeing up a summer move for the England international, as Lampard looks to improve his options at left-back.
Chelsea currently have Emerson and Alonso competing to start on the left-hand side of their defence, and the Spaniard has been backed in recent weeks.
With Emerson out injured, Alonso has had a run of games, but he has not always fully convinced.
Alonso was substituted off at half-time in Chelsea’s most recent outing against Ajax, as the two sides drew 4-4 in the Champions League.

And it seems that Alonso’s long-term future could be away from Stamford Bridge.
If Chelsea do sign Chilwell, who is valued at £50 million (The Sun), then Alonso is said to be the player that would move on.
Alonso has been at Chelsea for over three years now, but there is a feeling among supporters that he could be upgraded and his potential departure is unlikely to cause too much disappointment.
