Swansea City and Sheffield Wednesday have both been active in the January transfer window.
Belenenses attacking midfielder Andre Sousa is on the wanted lists of Swansea City and Sheffield Wednesday, according to a report on page 55 of Friday’s Sun newspaper.
Both Swansea and Wednesday have been active in the winter transfer window, bringing in three new players apiece, and more signings could be on the cards at the Liberty Stadium and Hillsborough.
If the Sun’s report proves accurate, Sousa may be next in the pair’s sights – despite failing to score or assist a single league goal for his club this season, which raises the question of whether he is good enough to play for a Championship promotion contender, let alone a club in the Premier League.

The 26-year-old is, however, a former Portugal Under-21 international boasting Europa League experience, and his ability to play in a number of roles, including as a winger or second striker, will likely appeal to prospective suitors.
Wednesday, in particular, are no strangers to shopping in the Portuguese market, having signed Filipe Melo, Vincent Sasso, Marco Matias and Lucas Joao within the last two years.

The Owls, whose manager Carlos Carvalhal hails from the Iberian nation, have however concentrated on domestic signings since acquiring the quartet.
Would Sousa be a good signing for Swansea City/Sheffield Wednesday?
