According to Bild, Bayern Munich now assume that David Alaba wants to leave for a huge contract elsewhere this summer.
It’s claimed that Bayern have offered Alaba a huge deal worth €11million-a-year – around £190,000-a-week – as well as a yearly bonus of around €6million (£5.4million).
That’s a staggering offer, but Alaba has said no – and Bayern now assume that the Austrian is ‘all about the money’ and wants to leave as a free agent next summer.
They think Alaba wants a ‘hefty raise’ elsewhere, though whether he will actually find that elsewhere is another matter given that Bayern have already made a huge offer.
AS report that five clubs now want to sign Alaba; Barcelona, Real Madrid, Juventus, Liverpool and Manchester City, with the world’s elite chasing him.
A move to Liverpool would see him making the same move as Thiago, as he chased a new challenge by signing for the Reds over the summer.

Where would Alaba fit in at Liverpool though? Andrew Robertson won’t be replaced as Jurgen Klopp’s first-choice left back any time soon, though the 28-year-old could be a centre back alongside Virgil van Dijk.
It seems unlikely that Liverpool will better that £190,000-a-week offer from Bayern, so if Alaba is chasing more money, he may not find it at Anfield.
