Liverpool have signed reported Bayern Munich target Sepp van den Berg.

As announced on Liverpool’s official website, the Premier League club have signed the 17-year-old PEC Zwolle.
The Times has claimed that German and European giants Bayern tried to sign the teenager – who can operate as a central defender or as a right-back – while he was undergoing a medical on Merseyside.
It has been reported that Bayern officials made a series of calls to the youngster’s representatives, but Liverpool eventually got the deal over the line.

Promising talent
Van den Berg is a very talented and promising young defender who can be a star for Liverpool in the coming years.
The Netherlands Under-18 international may not feature regularly for the Reds’ first team next season, but he could be valuable for the Merseyside outfit in years to come.
The 17-year-old made 10 starts and five substitute appearances in the Eredivisie for PEC Zwolle last season, according to WhoScored.
