Edwards could be the latest Tottenham Hotspur academy product to move overseas.

Tottenham Hotspur winger Marcus Edwards is wanted by Bayer Leverkusen, according to the Sun.
The newspaper reports the German side have made contact with Spurs, with whom they hope to begin talks over a fee for Edwards.
It claims the 19-year-old is seen as the ideal recruit should Leverkusen lose Leon Bailey or Julian Brandt this summer – the hope being that Edwards can take after Jadon Sancho, the Borussia Dortmund winger once linked with a move to Tottenham, after quitting English football for the Bundesliga.
A product of Tottenham’s academy, Edwards was handed his first team debut at the age of 17 by Mauricio Pochettino, who famously likened him to Lionel Messi.

The England youth international’s progress has stalled since then, however, with a loan spell at Norwich City last season failing to bear fruit.
And it is therefore plausible that Spurs – who look set to lose Reo Griffiths (pictured, below) as well as Keanan Bennetts to overseas clubs this summer – would be willing to cash in on Edwards, who has two years left on his contract at White Hart Lane.
