According to Bild and Get German Football News, Eintracht Frankfurt striker Bas Dost wants to stay put despite interest from Tottenham Hotspur.
Reports emerged on Monday night of Tottenham’s interest in Dost, with the Daily Mail reporting that a deal was being pursued.
Frankfurt would allegedly be willing to sell for just £5.5million, a £1million loss on what they paid for the Dutchman last year.
Bild now back up those claims of Tottenham’s interest, but state that Dost actually wants to stay with Frankfurt.
Dost is seemingly seen as the first-choice partner for Andre Silva this season, after Frankfurt sold Goncalo Paciencia to Schalke.
The 31-year-old will receive plenty of playing time, which may not come at Tottenham given that he would just be competition for Harry Kane.

Dost provides the aerial presence that Jose Mourinho is looking for, and after a stunning goalscoring record for Sporting, Dost scored 11 goals in 31 games for Frankfurt.
Barring a U-turn from the giant striker, Dost won’t be heading to Spurs – and Jose Mourinho will have to look elsewhere for a new hitman.
