Danny Rose has been tipped to leave Tottenham but could he be heading to the Camp Nou?

Out-and-out swap deals are very rare at the top level of the European game. So reports in Spanish publication El Gol Digital that Tottenham Hotspur could exchange Danny Rose for Jordi Alba certainly catch the eye.
The report claims that Spanish international left-back Alba has not really convinced Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde this season, after previously falling out favour with his Blaugrana predecessor Luis Enrique towards the latter stages of 2016/17.

El Gol Digital add that Alba’s value is deflating by the year so they are mulling over whether or not now is the time to look for a long-term replacement for a player who has still produced five assists in 12 La Liga games this season from left-back.
And the report states that Rose, who has been tipped to leave Tottenham sooner rather than later after losing his place in the starting XI to Ben Davies, could be on his way to the Camp Nou in a sensational exchange deal.

Rose has barely featured for Spurs in 2017 due to a serious injury suffered at the start of the year and got on the wrong side of manager Mauricio Pochettino when he criticised the club’s transfer policy in the summer, while also stating that he would be open to a departure, in that now infamous interview with The Sun.
Rose, who has not won a trophy in his senior career, stated that he wanted to fill up his CV with silverware before retirement. So you could imagine that he would be open to the idea of signing for Barcelona.
