West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing the Barcelona midfielder.

If the latest report is true then West Ham United have received a boost in their pursuit of Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes.
West Ham’s interest in the Portugal international dates back to the summer but the 24-year-old, who has started only four Liga games this season, remains a bit-part player at Camp Nou.
Consequently, the Irons are linked with another move for Gomes.

Hammers boss David Moyes is reported by The Mail to only want the midfielder on loan after Barcelona’s £30 million valuation scuppered the chance of buying him outright.
And The Mail now reports that Barcelona are willing to let him leave on loan, providing a compulsory purchase option is included if Gomes plays a certain amount of games in the second half of the season.
If West Ham really do want him then surely this will delight Moyes, but the Irons had a similar agreement with Simone Zaza which did not end well last season.

Then-Hammers boss Slaven Bilic cancelled the Italian’s season-long loan in January after the struggling striker was approaching the 15-game mark, at which point West Ham would have been contractually obligated to sign him on a permanent basis.
But Gomes – also linked with Tottenham – is far more equipped to succeed in the Premier League than Zaza and therefore Moyes might feel confident that he can avoid Bilic’s error of last season.
