Barcelona are continuing to play add-ons for ex-Manchester City midfielder Denis Suarez.

According to Catalan newspaper SPORT, Barcelona have grown tired of paying Manchester City add-ons for midfielder Denis Suarez.
Suarez, 24, started out in the youth ranks of Celta Vigo before heading to Manchester City in 2011, having been touted as a star of the future.
However, the Spanish playmaker failed to make a single Premier League appearance for City, and was sold to Barcelona back in 2013, where he featured for their B team.

Suarez had a loan spell with Sevilla before being sold to Villarreal, and his impressive displays earned him a move back to Barcelona in 2016 – but that is going somewhat sour.
Catalan newspaper SPORT claim that a clause in Suarez’s initial Barcelona deal means that City must be paid €800,000 (£715,000) for every 10 appearances that Suarez makes for the Barca first team.
With 54 appearances for Barca, the La Liga giants have ended up paying City an additional £3.5million, and it’s now claimed that Barca officials ‘sigh’ every time they are forced to make additional payments to City.

Now, Suarez is being frozen out of the Barcelona side to avoid more money heading to the Etihad Stadium, and he may be stuck on the fringes of Ernesto Valverde’s side as a result.
Suarez may now be heading for the Barcelona exit door this summer, before City can take another chunk of money from the Catlaan giants.
