The La Liga champions have identified the Newcastle United man as a potential target.

According to the Daily Mail, Barcelona are considering a move for Newcastle United’s Ayoze Perez.
The La Liga champions have been busy this summer with Samuel Umtiti, Lucas Digne and Andre Gomes all arriving at the club.
They are also looking to add another striker to their squad to provide back up to attacking triumvirate Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez.

They have found that a difficult task though, with players unwilling to make the move knowing they will spend more time on the bench than in the first-team.
Nonetheless Barcelona continue to look and according to the Daily Mail sporting director Robert Fernandez has targeted Newcastle striker Perez.

However, the newspaper reports that they are set to face further frustration, as Perez is likely to reject any advances.
He is said to be happy under manager Rafa Benitez and confident he can play a big part as Newcastle look to make an immediate return to the Premier League next season.
That will come as good news to the Magpies, who have already seen Andros Townsend and Georginio Wijnaldum depart the club this summer.
