Barcelona have reportedly activated their buyback clause for Gerard Deulofeu.

Barcelona are reportedly all set to activate their buy-back clause for Gerard Deulofeu. According to reports from The Times, the Blaugrana will trigger a payment of about £10.5 million to Everton for the winger.
Everton signed the 23-year-old permanently in the summer of 2015 for a fee of £4.2 million, reported by The Guardian. That means Barcelona will pay more than double the amount the Merseyside club paid for the player two years ago.
Paul Joyce of The Times tweeted:
If the figure from The Times is believed to be true, then the Toffees will receive a profit of £6.3 million from the sale of Deulofeu, who has failed to impress under Ronald Koeman.
The Spaniard has been an enigmatic figure at Merseyside. In 2013-14, when he joined on loan, he showed his immense quality and talent, but for whatever reasons Koeman wasn’t too impressed with his contributions.

He spent the second half of last season on loan at AC Milan, where he was arguably one of their best players. Used in his favoured wide left attacking role, Deulofeu racked up four goals and three assists in just 17 appearances to remind Barcelona of his usefulness.
His contract situation is tricky to say the least. Barcelona only have until June 30th to trigger his buy-back clause, and it seems the decision has been made.
