The former Reading youngster will reportedly spend eight weeks training with West Ham United.

The former Reading youth team player, Ayo Faniyan, is training with West Ham United ahead of a potential transfer, according to All Nigeria Soccer.
The website reports Faniyan will be observed by West Ham staff over the next eight weeks to determine weather or not he is worthy of a contract at the London Stadium.
The 18-year-old had his Reading deal terminated by mutual consent in September and cannot, therefore, be registered with another club until the next transfer window in January.
He is described as being a ‘strong, quick and powerful striker’ who can also play out wide, although Reading’s official website describes him as a midfielder.
Faniyan was born in Nigeria – the country to which he has committed his international future – but moved to England aged five, according to All Nigeria Soccer.

Angelo Ogbonna is the most notable player of Nigerian descent currently on West Ham’s books, despite representing Italy internationally.
