Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to head to China rather than Liverpool.
Liverpool are about to miss out on Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with the 28-year-old on the verge of a switch to China.
That is according to German publication, SportBild, who claim that Chinese Super League outfit Tianjin Quanjian will not only meet Dortmund’s £63m asking price, but smash it with a £70m bid.

Not only that, but Tianjin chairman Shu Yuhui is prepared to further tempt Aubameyang to the Far East with a colossal £26.5m-a-year salary.
Manager Juergen Klopp worked with Aubameyang at Dortmund and was the man who originally brought him to the Signal Iduna Park from Saint-Etienne in 2013.
However, the report also says that Klopp and the forward did not see eye to eye during their time together and perhaps that has had something to do with the Merseysiders not making a move.
