According to Marca, Atletico Madrid have three players in mind for a potential swap deal involving Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette – but Thomas Partey isn’t one of them.
It’s claimed that Diego Simeone still wants to sign a striker this summer, and Atletico haven’t forgotten about Lacazette.
The likes of Edinson Cavani, Gonzalo Higuain and Luis Suarez have been ruled out, and Atletico are looking to Lacazette in a potential swap.
Atletico don’t want to give up Arsenal target Partey, and are instead proposing French winger Thomas Lemar to the Gunners.
Wide man Vitolo and Argentinian attacker Angel Correa are also thought to be on offer to Arsenal, but a deal is still described as being unlikely.
29-year-old Lacazette has just two years left on his Arsenal contract, but the Gunners won’t simply let him leave the club unless the deal suits them.

Vitolo is now 30 and scored just three times this past season, so he doesn’t really fit, and another winger isn’t really needed after Willian’s arrival, discounting Lemar.
Correa’s ability to play up front may make him appealing, but it really should be Partey or nothing, as the Ghanaian is the ideal player to bring steel and quality to Arsenal’s midfield.
