Tottenham Hotspur may be able to sign Angel Correa this summer.

According to Sky Sports, Tottenham Hotspur have been offered the chance to sign Angel Correa during talks over selling Kieran Trippier to Atletico Madrid.
Spurs have been open to selling Trippier this summer to make way for new blood at right back, and they appear to have found a buyer in Diego Simeone’s Atletico.
With 34-year-old Juanfran gone, Atletico need a new right back, and with talks progressing over a deal, Trippier is expected to undergo a medical with the La Liga side soon.
However, the deal has taken an unexpected twist, and that’s that Atletico have offered up forward Correa during talks, leaving Spurs to ponder whether to take the attacker or not.
Correa, 24, registered just three goals and two assists for Atletico last season, and having failed to really live up to expectations, it’s no great surprise that he’s been made available.
Some Atletico fans feel that Correa has been held back by Simeone, and that a more where he can really express his attacking talents – such as Tottenham – may be ideal.

He has the versatility Mauricio Pochettino loves, as he can play out wide, off a striker or up top, possessing similar usage to Son Heung-min and Lucas Moura, which is vital as signing an out-and-out striker is difficult due to Harry Kane’s presence.
Pochettino should think long and hard about Correa, as he does seem to fit the bill for Spurs, and Atletico’s offer has presented a golden chance to get him signed up.
