West Ham United are at risk of missing out on Leander Dendoncker.

Dendocker is rated as one of Belgium’s top talents still to be playing in the Jupiler Pro League and was linked with a move to West Ham in January, with SkySports reporting they had a bid turned down on deadline day.

In the immediate aftermath of the transfer window Dendocker struggled for form and he was heavily criticised in his homeland.
He has picked up in recent weeks, helping Anderlecht to back to back victories.
Nieuwsblad claim Atletico have the framework of an agreement in place for the midfielder, which would damage West Ham’s hopes to sign the 23-year-old.
West Ham are not out of the race entirely, as Atletico may want to back out of the agreement for this summer, which was reportedly put into place by Anderlecht’s previous board.
But if it comes down to a straight fight between the two clubs, it would be a shocker if West Ham won Dendoncker over.
