The Leicester City ace is a reported transfer target for Diego Simeone’s side.

According to report from Spanish media outlet AS, Leicester City ace Ben Chilwell is a summer transfer target for Atletico Madrid, as Diego Simeone looks to replace the outgoing Filipe Luis.
The 22-year-old has firmly established himself as one of the Premier League’s best left-backs over this past season, earning six international caps for England in the process.
He enjoyed a fine campaign for Leicester this season, racking up five assists in 36 appearances, but unfortunately fo the Foxes, his fine displays have not gone unnoticed.
Spanish publication AS claims that Diego Simeone is a big fan of Chilwell, and is prepared to pay £71 million in order to bring him to the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium this summer.

They do go on to claim that Atletico will face competition from Manchester City for the young Englishman’s signature, however.
Chilwell, who currently earns £65,000 per week at Leicester according to Spotrac, might just be tempted into joining Atleti, but if he isn’t, he will undoubtedly be able to use the Spaniard’s reported interest as leverage in a bid to earn himself a more lucrative contract at the King Power Stadium.
