Everton and Aston Villa could both be represented in the upcoming England squad.

According to a report in the Daily Mail, Aston Villa defender Tyrone Mings could be called up to the England squad, but Everton midfielder Fabian Delph will miss out.

Gareth Southgate is set to name his squad later today, as England prepare to qualifiers against Bulgaria and Kosovo.

And it seems that Villa’s Mings could be one of the names included in the squad.

With England struggling for left-back options, after injuries to both Luke Shaw and Ben Chillwell, it is said that Villa’s Mings is being considered as an option.

Mings doesn’t even play at left-back for Villa, as Dean Smith uses him in a central defensive role, but he can play there.

And Southgate is said to be considering promoting the Villa man to the senior Three Lions squad.

Delph looks set to drop out of the team though, as the Everton man has barely featured this term.

Delph made his debut for the Toffees last night after a bad injury ruled him out over the early weeks of the season.
