Motherwell are reportedly interested in Aston Villa striker Ross McCormack.

It has also been reported that McCormack is keen to return to Scotland, with Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership claimed to be interested in the former Rangers and Leeds United striker.
The 32-year-old striker is back at Villa following a knee injury which will see him remain on the sidelines for one more month.
The Scotland international’s current loan deal at Australian side Central Coast Mariners runs until the end of the season.

No future at Aston Villa?
McCormack has struggled to make an impact at Villa, and it does seem very likely that the former Leeds striker will not play for the Villans again.
If Motherwell want the striker, then it does make sense for the former Fulham star to make the move to the Scottish club, having played for them from 2006 until 2008.
