Aston Villa’s owners are hoping that they can persuade Jack Grealish not to move to Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs are said to be keen to snap up the attacking midfielder, who Mauricio Pochettino has made one of his top targets.
However, Villa’s financial concerns have lessened after their takeover.
And the claret and blues’ new owners are said to be hoping to persuade Grealish to stay.
At the moment Grealish is said to be keen to move to Spurs, as he believes Pochettino could be a great manager for him.

But Villa are not letting go of Grealish without a fight, and their new owners have hopes that he will stick around.
Villa chiefs now intend to try and persuade Grealish to remain with them, and if they are successful it would be a major boost for Steve Bruce’s side.
If Villa are to sell Grealish, Spurs now face paying more than first expected for the youngster, as he is valued at £30 million.
