Aston Villa midfielder Aaron Tshibola looks set to spend the rest of the season on loan in the Scottish Premiership.

Tshibola has endured a fairly miserable time since arriving at Villa Park for £5 million back when Roberto Di Matteo was in charge and Clarke was his assistant in the wake of the club’s relegation from the Premier League.

Tshibola made a handful of appearances for the Villans during his first year with the club, but he is still awaiting his first outing of the campaign this time around.
He spent the first few months of the season out on loan with MK Dons, but that spell provided little success, and he now looks set to join up with Clarke for a third time.

With Tshibola’s stock seemingly significantly lower than it was when Villa paid £5 million for him around a year and a half ago, he will be hoping to use the time in Scotland to gain some confidence and start to prove that Villa did not make a mistake when they decided to spend a significant amount to bring him to the club.
