Galatasaray remain interested in Aston Villa winger Trezeguet, but the Athletic have ruled out any potential sale this month.
Trezeguet has found his chances at Villa limited this term, with others emerging ahead of him in the selection order.
Anwar El Ghazi and Bertrand Traore both have featured fairly regulary this season, with Jack Grealish also a mainstay in the side off the left.
Trezeguet, therefore, may become an expendable player in time for Dean Smith’s side.
However, despite Gala’s long-term interest, Villa have no desire to lose Trezeguet any time soon.

Smith still sees the rapid wide-man as a potentially important player to his squad, and he will reportedly be kept around at least until the end of the campaign.
Trezeguet will surely be hoping to play a more prominent role between now and the end of the season.
The £9 million Egyptian (BBC Sport) has played on eight occasions for Villa in the Premier League to date, but he has just one assist to his name during that time.
