Aston Villa have been linked with Watford goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon, who spent the second half of this past season on loan at Nottingham Forest.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that Villa want to secure the services of Pantilimon on a season-long loan deal.
Watford will reportedly prefer to sell, but if the goalkeeper’s wages are paid in full, then they could loan out him out.

Good signing for Aston Villa?
Pantilimon is a good goalkeeper, and the Romania international would be a smart signing for Villa in the summer transfer window.
The 31-year-old spent the second half of this past season on loan at Villa’s Championship rivals Nottingham Forest.

The former Politehnica Timisoara and Sunderland goalkeeper, who won the Premier League title with Manchester City in 2013-14, did well during his loan spell at Forest.
Villa will play in the Championship next season after failing to win promotion from the Premier League this past campaign.
