Aston Villa reportedly want to sign four players this summer.

According to The Birmingham Mail, Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce wants to sign four players this summer.
Bruce is preparing for his first full season as Aston Villa manager after replacing Roberto Di Matteo in the first half of the 2016-17 campaign.

The Villans finished 13th in the Championship and it is obvious that a huge improvement is needed if they are to win promotion back to the Premier League.
It was previously revealed by The Birmingham Mail that Bruce had hoped to offload as many as 10 players this summer, but the same outlet now claims that the former Sunderland manager wants to bring in four new faces.

The West Midlands club have been linked with a number of names so far, but perhaps Bruce will want to wrap up the signing of Manchester United goalkeeper Sam Johnstone first.
The 24-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Villa Park and re-signing him would be a good start to what Villa fans hope will be a busy window.
