Leicester, Sunderland and Watford are all believed to be discussing deals for Aston Villa loanee Sam Johnstone.

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United goalkeeper Sam Johnstone is set to leave Manchester United, with his representatives in talks with more than seven clubs.
Johnstone, 24, has come up through the ranks at United, but has yet to make his first-team debut for the club, instead being loaned out on nine different occasions.

After two spells with hometown club Preston North End, the former England under-20 international was sent out on loan to Aston Villa in January, where he made a real impact.
Johnstone made a slow start to life at Villa Park but proved himself to be a quality goalkeeper under Steve Bruce, bolstering a Villa defence that had been shaky with Pierluigi Gollini in goal.

Now, Johnstone is back at Old Trafford, but the Daily Mail report that Johnstone is set to leave United this summer, with his representatives allegedly talking to more than seven clubs.
Whilst Villa want him permanently, it’s believed that Johnstone’s representatives are in talks with Leicester and Watford in the Premier League, Sunderland in the Championship and a host of other clubs.

With Sergio Romero and Joel Pereira also at Jose Mourinho’s disposal before David De Gea’s future is even resolved, Johnstone is now set to leave United, but to the tune of £5million.
It remains to be seen whether Villa accept those demands, with Bruce seemingly having limited funds this summer – and a move to the Premier League, if first-team football is guaranteed, could be appealing, whilst Sunderland may well be lining Johnstone up in case they lose Jordan Pickford.
