Aston Villa have already spent nearly £70 million in the transfer window, and Dean Smith’s side are not stopping there.

Dean Smith’s side have only just returned to the Premier League, but Villa are showing great ambition.
The claret and blues’ spending already stands at £68.5 million, following the capture of Tyrone Mings yesterday.
However, Villa are not done yet, and the Mirror claims that Smith’s side could yet spend over another £30 million on new players.
The transfer report is staggering, as very few newly promoted sides have ever spent as much as Villa.
Fulham did last season, but Villa will not want a repeat of the Cottagers’ campaign, which saw them relegated instantly.

Smith’s side have arguably bought better than Fulham though, with most their additions either proven at Villa Park before or experienced in English football.
Villa are still on the hunt for another centre-back and a goalkeeper, while a winger could still be on their wishlist too.
It seems that Smith still has some of his budget left to spend, and these are now hugely exciting times for Villa supporters.
