Aston Villa are planning a clear-out in the summer, as they look to reduce their wage bill.

Villa are still formulating plans over their squad next season, as it is unclear what division they will be playing in.
The claret and blues look likely to qualify for the Championship’s play offs, as they look to return to the Premier League.

However, regardless of what division Villa are in, Steve Bruce has decided that Agbonlahor, McCormack and Richards all have no futures at the club.
The trio are all on big wages, and have basically played no part for Villa this season.

Agbonlahor has been injured for much of the campaign, McCormack has been sent out on loan, and Richards has been left in the reserves with lingering concerns over his fitness.
Villa have one of the largest wage-bills in the Championship, and reducing their expenses could be key for next term.
