Aston Villa’s Tyrone Mings made his international debut on Monday night.

Tyrone Mings’s England debut comes at a slight cost for his club, Aston Villa.
The towering centre-back started last night’s 6-0 win away to Bulgaria for what was his first-ever international appearance.
As a result, Aston Villa, who spent £21 million on the 26-year-old this past summer, will have to pay Bournemouth an additional £250,000, according to The Telegraph.
The report adds that the Villans will be obliged to shell out another £750,000 for his next three England caps due to a clause that they included in the deal when signing him from Eddie Howe’s side.
Still, it’s a superb bit of business for the West Midlands club.
Not only did Mings play a massive role in Aston Villa winning Premier League promotion last season, but he and new signing Bjorn Engels have formed a very impressive defensive partnership at centre-back in the top flight.
In total, the deal for Mings could hit £26 million – one-third of what Harry Maguire fetched – and, in this climate, he still looks a bargain when you consider his age and ability.
