Aston Villa fans don’t have much longer to wait before seeing Wesley Morares’s deal confirmed, according to a report.

The Birmingham Mail have revealed that Aston Villa will seal their club-record deal to sign Wesley Moraes on July 1.
Villa confirmed two weeks ago that they had agreed a £22 million fee with Club Brugge for the towering striker.
But the deal was subject to a work permit and international clearance, which has delayed Aston Villa’s unveiling of the 22-year-old hitman.
Anxiety is building among fans of the West Midlands club but, according to The Birmingham Mail, the transfer will be finalised at the very start of next month – or this coming Monday, in other words.
The report adds that Wesley – who netted 17 goals for the Belgian side last term – is in his native Brazil awaiting confirmation of his visa, but that the big striker will be in Birmingham on July 2.
It’s understandable why some fans are nervous about the deal collapsing, but would Aston Villa have announced it unless they were certain that it would materialise? You’d like to think not.
There is big pressure on Wesley next season; not only is it his first year in the Premier League, but he has very big boots to fill after Chelsea-owned Tammy Abraham scored 25 goals in helping Dean Smith’s side win promotion last season.
