Tigres have failed to sign Pione Sisto, just like Aston Villa did.

Aston Villa signed three wingers this summer, luring Jota and Trezeguet to Villa Park whilst securing the permanent signing of loanee Anwar El Ghazi.
Villa were linked with other wide men though, including Brentford’s Said Benrahma, and Celta Vigo’s Pione Sisto was another name targeted by Dean Smith’s men.
Faro de Vigo reported last week that Villa were chasing a £9million deal, but he still rejected them despite being offered a tour of Villa’s training ground.
Sisto has been out of favour at Celta Vigo, meaning the La Liga side have been open to letting him go. Sadly for them, he has forced another move to collapse.
Mediotempo in Mexico reported that Tigres were keen to get Sisto signed up, but having already rejected them once earlier this summer, he again snubbed a move before the Mexican window closed on September 5th.
Now, La Voz de Galicia note that Sisto scored Celta’s goal in a 1-1 friendly with Portuguese side Famalicao on Friday morning, which may just cause his situation to change.

With the player refusing exit options but still willing to contribute, he may now be reintegrated into Fran Escriba’s side, rather than have him sit around decreasing his value.
Villa may fancy another go if they’re settled in the Premier League, but having rejected a number of offers, teams may now start to give up trying to prise the Danish international away from Celta, in what is something of a bizarre stance given his lack of playing time.
