Well, Philippe Coutinho to Aston Villa is getting extremely interesting indeed.
The former Liverpool maestro has been heavily linked with a stunning move to Aston Villa over the past couple of weeks.
And Mundo Deportivo in Spain reported on Thursday that a transfer from Barcelona to Bodymoor Heath could be finalised within 48 hours.
However, another report about the 29-year-old is even more exciting than that.
According to Beteve in Catalunya, the Brazil playmaker has already begun the process of looking for a house in the city of Birmingham.
And if that development is true then it’s safe to say that Steven Gerrard – who played with the magician at Liverpool – is set for one hell of a coup in the Midlands.
Magical
As mentioned, Gerrard played alongside the South American wizard at Anfield for a number of years.
And in 2017, the 42-year-old Aston Villa manager labelled Coutinho as ‘magical’ in an interview with Goal.
Gerrard has already enjoyed a blistering start to life at Villa Park, winning four of his seven Premier League games, losing only to Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea.
Even without Coutinho, the iconic midfielder is a very exciting manager for Aston Villa.
However, with someone like Coutinho on board, well the two could produce real magic together.
