According to Tuttomercatoweb, intermediaries have offered Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz to Juventus.
It’s claimed that Juve are seeking to add a central midfielder in January, and are looking at a host of options.
One of them is Luiz, and it’s stated that intermediate agents have contacted Juve to try and engineer a move.
Luiz, 22, has emerged as one of Dean Smith’s key players at Villa, starring in a holding midfield role in 2020.
The Brazilian has been so good that he now has five caps for Brazil, and Villa may well find it difficult to keep hold of him long-term.
Juve’s interest is a threat, as a move to the Italian giants would surely be appealing, especially as he could play under a former top midfielder in Andrea Pirlo.

Additionally though, Eurosport note that Manchester City are considering activating their buy-back clause on the midfielder they sold last summer.
Major interest in Luiz is mounting now after impressive displays this season, and whilst Villa can try to fend off Juve, they will have no control over City with that buy-back clause.
