Aston Villa will reportedly complete the signing of Anwar El Ghazi on a permanent deal after an impressive loan spell last season.

The winger had a tough start to life at Villa but he improved massively as the season went on. El Ghazi scored six goals for the Villans, including the hugely important opener against Derby County in the play-off final.
The report reveals that the deal is expected to be completed in the next 24 hours and the 24-year-old will be Dean Smith’s second signing of the summer after Jota who moved to Villa Park from rivals Birmingham City earlier this week.
El Ghazi would be a solid signing for the Villans especially after how well he has settled in at the club. Dean Smith will need all the help he can get in the Premier League next season and the Dutchman’s performances on the wing will play a huge part in their bid to stay up at the end of the campaign.

The report also says that a number of new signings are anticipated after Villa released eight players last week. Bournemouth’s Tyrone Mings is expected to be one among them after having a hugely impressive loan spell in the second half of the season.
A transfer fee for Mings wasn’t agreed upon when he made the switch in January and the Cherries are expected to drive the defender’s price up after his fine performances which helped the Villans return to the Premier League.
